Sure, Letterboxd was down. But DMM is down for me (and my access to pinku eiga). Thankfully, I could at least enjoy some twinks going down. I'm already going through pinku withdrawals. While the first film was dark - the sequel is just darkly lit!
As a fan of pink film - and its sub-genre of gay pinku - it's very shocking to see it mutate with the BL / Boys' Love genre. OP / Okura Eiga has made some genuinely heartwarming and thoughtful gay pinku since 1984. Of course, they ignore all of that - and throw logic to the wind by giving this trilogy to the horror-leaning Daisuke Yamanouchi. This movie doesn't even inspire confidence in his AV…
